posted Mar 7, 2017, 9:59 AM by KIRA ALEXANDER

State testing will start when we get back from Spring Break. We want all students to be successful on this important test. We ask that all appointments be made after school so students don't miss any part of the test. We also want students well rested and here on time, everyday!
Please call our Program Coach, Mrs. Fitch or the Principal, Mrs. Hollingsworth if you have any questions about the test or the attendance requirements.
This is our time to shine and show everyone how awesome Acacia A++ students are!

Make sure you ask your student about all of the wonderful activities and engineering projects they did during the day. A big THANK YOU to Thunderbirds Charities and the Arizona Science Center for making this happen at Acacia!

It is so important to have constant communication between home and school. That connection is part of the equation for a success student. Please do your best to meet with your child's teacher.  We even have several early dismissal days to give parents and teachers time to meet. Just a reminder that we have early dismissal at 1:45 p.m. on Wed., February 8, Thurs., February 9 and Fri., February 10. As always, feel free to contact your child's teacher if you have any questions.

Holiday Fun!

posted Dec 21, 2016, 8:04 AM by KIRA ALEXANDER

We are busy learning as usual, but we're doing it with holiday fun this week. Be looking in backpacks for flyers with information on special activities classrooms are having. Buddy classes are making cookie ornaments, some are making wreath ornaments and others are even making gingerbread houses together.
Sixth grade will be having their annual Egg Drop! Science in Action!!! Students have been working on their project and researching the engineering of their protective case. They can only use straws and tape to create a protective case around an egg. Their project will be dropped from different heights hoping not to have the egg break.
Lots of fun learning, always, at A++ Acacia!
