PBIS Celebrations

When it comes to PBIS, we celebrate those who are effectively practicing the adopted expectations and are modeling behavioral interactions with fidelity.  At Acacia, we celebrate often and are continually looking for ways to honor students for following “the Acacia Way”.

See below for some of the ways students are honored for being A++ examples of The Acacia Way. 

Owl Standing Tickets

Students can earn Owl Standing tickets for modeling one or all of the expectations of the Acacia Way. Tickets go into grade level buckets located in the library. There are weekly and quarterly raffles where students can earn fun prizes!

The Way to Go Awards

At the end of each month, teachers choose one student who is a consistently positive example of all three expectations of the Acacia way. Winners receive a red lanyard as a prize that they can proudly wear around campus!

Daily Cafeteria Winners

Homeroom classes who follow the Acacia Way cafeteria expectations are chosen daily. Winner tallies can be found on the back cafeteria wall. These daily wins are counted and a monthly winner is crowned! Winning classes receive an extra 30 minute recess and winning teachers receive a duty-free recess. Classes who win multiple months can earn additional prizes.
